I thought maybe a Windows 10 Update had move them to: “Local Disc (C:) > Users > Public > Public Documents” folder. “EA Games > The Sims™ 2 Ultimate Collection” folders were missing completely. I went right away to my documents folder to see what was happening, and my I was confused but i wanted to test if i still can create new neighborhoods and when i tried this happened. And my neighborhoods were nowhere to be found. (I have 10GB of CC… It takes at least 5 mins to open normally) And it opened within a minute and it was with small screen settings and black borders. But i was like ok, anyway, maybe i have loaded my pc with many programs….?Īnyway i pressed yes and after that i noticed that my game was loading faster than it should be. Recently after a long time i wanted to open my game once again and play, When i noticed first, this message pop-up and i was like… This is new…. Here is my journey on how i fixed it and a detailed tutorial ( THANKS TO thesimmer14 and this post.): The emutalor will only work with the noCD ts2.exe. But there is a way to make it to work, either with switching locale or with (the best method) a Locale Emulator. It seems that The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection don’t work with Japanese Locale for some reason.
Switching it back to previous locale (US) will fix the problem. What was causing the issue was that my system was set to a different locale, (more specific on Japanese) which prevented the game from generating the documents folder.

So short time solution here it is what it cause this problem and how to fix it: Of some setting we did on our pc’s or laptops and i will explain right away. This problem is not caused by Windows update or Origin. Second: Do not uninstall and re-install your game. (At least If you haven’t already done it.).First off all: It doesen’t matter if you play with Origin or with the noCD.TS2 ULTIMATE COLLECTION ISSUE: DOES YOUR GAME HIDE ALL THE NEIGHBORHOODS AND CRASHES? HERE’S HOW TO FIX IT !!! - and emulator option!
